ErieTec has an immediate opening for a EB Controls Territory Account Manager Based in our Erie, PA office.

Purpose of this Position: This position is responsible for developing, obtaining and maintaining new & existing sales relationships with customers by promoting and selling Control Panels & Electrical products and services within a geographic territory. Individuals in this position will provide cost saving solutions and technical support for customer applications in an expedient and professional manner.

Travel Requirements: Travel within specified territories will be constant, although overnight travel will be minimal if at all.

Scope of Authority: This position reports to the Dir of Corporate Operations and provides assistance to the Industrial Electrical Specialists and Panel Shop Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Schedule appointments to visit new and existing customers in order to introduce products/services and explain product features/benefits to the customers. The salesperson will answer questions about the products, services, credit terms, availability, etc.

2. Perform on-site calls to assigned accounts and prospects to develop and/or maintain relationships with customer contacts, identify and close on sales opportunities, and maintain existing business. Demonstrate products, quote prices, and close on sales opportunities while maintaining adequate documentation and record keeping.

3. Provide technical assistance to customers as needed to identify and recommend ways to alter product usage in order to improve production and/or reduce costs.

4. Communicate to applicable EB Controls/ErieTec personnel customer information necessary to properly service the account, including competitive information.

5. Complete necessary sales reports and other paperwork as requested by management.

6. Visit customer sites with Industrial Electrical Specialist, Management and Inside Sales as required in order to proactively identify additional customer needs.

7. Review and process communications from Customers, Vendors, and EB Controls/ErieTec Personnel in a timely manner.

8. Provide assistance with other company functions as required/requested in related or non-related areas.

Physical Requirements

Constant travel to and from customer sites (approximately 75% travel)
